Premier League - Wycombe thrash Chelsea XI Eurosport - Thu, 29 Jul 21:53:00 2010

A four-minute second-half hat-trick from Jon-Paul Pittman saw Wycombe secure a remarkable 5-1 victory over a Chelsea XI in an open encounter.

Chelsea fielded a side comprising several members of the youth team which had triumphed in the 2009-10 FA Youth Cup.
Their young players, eager to make an impression, got off to a bright start and scored early through Aliu Djalo, who hooked in a rebound after 13 minutes.
Wycombe were not deterred and had plenty of chances as the half progressed. Their equaliser came when Scott Rendell turned in a chance from 10 yards.
They got their noses in front when Ben Strevens, who had already seen two efforts hit the post, struck from the narrowest of angles after a delightful backheel from Kieran Murtagh.
In the second half both sides made several changes, with the hosts bringing on Pittman and Matt Phillips.
And it was these changes that made the difference as an extraordinary four-minute hat-trick from Pittman produced a remarkable scoreline.
Pittman struck his first under Samuel Walker in the Chelsea goal, tapped in his second after Phillips's confident run and pass and finished his hat-trick with a chip.
